Acquisition of Laurus Associates by Azets Wealth Management

"We are delighted to share the news that Laurus Associates is to become part of Azets Wealth  Management (Azets WM). 

We have spent some time considering the best way to ensure long term business continuity, ongoing enhancement of the services that we provide for our clients, and increased opportunities for our staff.

Following engagement with Azets and recognising the alignment in our services, values and client focus, we believe that, in combining with Azets, we have found the ideal solution.

Azets Wealth Management, are independent and able to offer “whole of market” advice to clients, in the same way as Laurus Associates. Azets are larger than Laurus Associates and we will benefit from additional staff resources as well as access to new systems and technologies. Azets Wealth Management’s main locations are currently in Newcastle and Scotland and they provide financial planning and wealth management services to over 2,700 clients across the UK.

Will there be any immediate changes?

From January 20th, we will be relocating two miles away from our Jesmond office to Bulman House, Gosforth:

Secondly, while our branding may change, your ongoing advisor fee will remain the same and your services will continue to be delivered by us and our existing staff who will all become part of the Azets Wealth Management team.

You will soon receive a Welcome Pack from Azets Wealth Management with more information.  This will include new agreements to be signed by you which will form the basis of your contractual relationship as a client of ours at Azets Wealth Management.  We are offering the facility to sign these digitally or return them in the post and we would ask you to read over these and, sign at your earliest convenience. These documents will be required to allow us to continue to provide advice following the change of ownership.    Please get in touch with either of us if you wish to discuss this change more fully.

We have attached a booklet, “About our Service & Costs” which will provide you with more information about Azets Wealth Management and the services they offer however be assured that there will be no change in the fees you are paying, at this time.
